Greg Nicholson has twenty years of financial services industry experience that has covered Recruitment, Job Network, Education, Insurance, and Banking Industries.
He has spent the last fifteen years within these Industry sectors in senior roles as Chief Financial Officer, Financial Director and Administration Manager.
Greg moved to Brisbane nine years ago, and has been responsible for the rapid growth of two Queensland’s fastest growing recruitment companies, The Workpac Group and Sarina Russo Group of Companies.
Greg was responsible for developing the business plans and infrastructure to enable the growth to succeed in both these companies.
As Chief Financial Officer in the Workpac Group of Companies, Greg turned a company from three offices with an annual turnover of $25 million to 15 offices recording an annual turnover of $120 million. This was achieved over a three year period through developing key strategies of sound budgetary management and sales growth.
As Finance Director for the Sarina Russo Group of Companies which comprised the Russo Institute of Technology and Sarina Russo Job Access, he was part of a two man team that was successful in winning a $100 million dollar Job Network contract. He developed a financial plan to role out the contract and was part of the four man management team that rolled out 30 offices nationally.
Greg was responsible for securing the appropriate financing structures for each of these companies to secure rapid growth.
Greg is a proven professional that can lead, mentor and motivate companies; managing change management has been a constant through his career. He has been responsible for the management and implementation of IT systems. He has a proven track record of achieving success in business, developing key strategies that increased market penetration is a key component to this success.
He has a track record of securing growth and delivering solutions.
